The picture quality is Great. Overall, I would recommend to someone.Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts:LOOKS/DESIGN:PROS: This projector is almost perfect in the fashion department. The nice cloth design in a black color (one of the reasons I picked up this particular model) looks great with my black devices which sit at the back of our apartment along with it. The components all look well made and the cloth matches my Google Smart Home speakers/Devices. The lens element looks nice and the plastic looks quality made.CONS: My only negative is the rubber door on the side of the projector that says MORE INPUTS HERE”. It looks odd to have that on so I cut it off and left the ports open.BUILD:PROS: Great build quality. The rubber feet are nice, the cloth material on the top is nice, the lens is nice, everything is great.CONS: The projector riser (front screen that increases the angle of the projector) is somewhat loose/flimsy and really not long enough. Not a big deal though as once it’s set up you never touch it…PROJECTIONPROS:This projector is CLEAR! I’ll be honest, for $230 I was not expecting something this clear. It’s sharp and shows text very well. The brightness is incredible as well. You can easily watch a show or play a game with ambient light in the room. Easily!! The color is good (once adjusted from the default adjustments) and contrast is excellent considering the price (once again). Colors look vibrant but not TOO vibrant or out of gamut which lots of projectors have issues with. Blues don’t look neon which is a definite plus!! Beautiful image!!CONS: Its takes some time to get the brightness/contrast/color settings just right. I used my XBox to really fine tune the settings. Definitely don’t use the 3 presets offered as they really don’t look good at all. Instead use a custom setting. Not a big deal, just a personal preference/ease of use thing.KEYSTONE:Pros: Only pros. No cons. The corner adjustment is BY FAR the best way to keystone this projector. It works flawlessly. I have the projector image framed between some framed images and it allowed me to make sure all lines were straight. Perfect!!SOUND:PROS:Let’s be honest, most people won’t be using the audio from the projector. ThT being said, it was actually pretty good. I actually thought the audio was coming from my JBL (I’m in a college apartment so I can’t use my nice speakers (ONKYO/B&O) when it was actually from the Vankyo. I was blown away by how good the speakers are. While I still wouldn’t recommend using a projectors/TVs speakers, they do a good job.CONS: N/A.NOISE:This projector is not loud. Don’t listen to those reviews. It’s just fine.GAMING:Just a note. There is a small amount of lag between controller input and the movement of your person/vehicle on screen. However, it’s not bad enough to decrease gameplay quality.OVERALL:For $230 you cannot find a better projector. It really kicks butt and projects a beautifully crisp image with great detail and color. While you do need to set the projector a good distance from wherever you’re projector to for the best/biggest screen, it does a great job at projecting your content! I was on the fence about purchasing this projector and I’m so glad I did!! If you’re even remotely thinking about getting this projector do it! You won’t be disappointed.P.S. this is coming from a film production major!

I purchased this projector from for family use. It is better than I expected. The image quality is excellent and sound is pretty good for the projector of this price range. Pretty easy to setup. The remote control is very response. I just watched some movies of 1080P and the image quality is excellent. The brightness is great with curtain closed even during the day with sunny outside.Highly recommended.

Highly recommend a projector for everyone. Because it is much better than a big TV. with surround sound system connected you will feel like real home theater. It looks good and comes along with the nice handy storage bag. The projector has a nice cover that look like canvas, giving it an aesthetic texture. The projector is compatible with fire stick and HDMI port that I use for the laptop. It is great for watching movies like in a theater.

Over all amazing picture quality!! The projector as a whole is a perfect entry to the projector life. My only complaint is the fact that when it comes to playing video games it’s a tad bit slow. My old projector had no delay and I kinda miss it.

I had my doubts about getting a projector since I have such a big window in my room. But if I want to watch something during the day I use blackout curtains and at night the projector is bright enough that I can leave the window open and the lights from the city don’t interfere with the picture quality. The keystone feature is really easy to use and I had to use it because my walls are a bit wonky as far as being level. I don’t have a projector screen yet but the picture quality still looks great just on a normal wall. I haven’t set up any speakers yet but I will once I finalize my home theater. Again, it’s a great projector.

When I opened the box, the quality of the material exceeded my expectation. Function wise, it got everything I need: it has 1080P high quality reflection, the light is very bright and the color is vivid. It has HDMI interface and AV and VGA. The built-in speaker quality is also pretty good. This product is highly recommended!

Let me break down the features that set this apart.Pros1. Horizontal AND vertical keystone correction: If you own a projector that didn’t cost a fortune, then you know the pain of only having 1-way keystone correction. I love that I can offset this virtually anywhere and get a perfectly square picture.2. Solid sound: The onboard speakers aren’t going to blow you away, but they’re pretty powerful for a projector. I use an external speaker on our main projector, but that wouldn’t be necessary here in the end.3. Relatively quiet fans: No projector is ever going to be silent, but the fans here are fairly low-noise.4. Standard high-end projector features: Everything else can be wrapped up here, but it stands out because the specs and performance rival much higher-priced devices. This is super-bright at 6000 LUX (test video done at 1pm on a sunny day). The picture is as sharp as you want it and the settings are easy to adjust. It plays direct from an external hard drive or USB stick, or we can hook our Dish up to it and view television on a screen up to 200 inches (I think it would display well on a MUCH larger screen than 200 inches, but we’ll try that on the side of the house when the weather warms).ConsI got nothingI’m 100% confident is recommending this.

This is my first projector. I wanted one for a long time but never decided to pull the trigger. Finally got this one which wasn’t one of the cheapest, but I’m glad I made this decision. Last night I tested it for the first time without even reading the manual. Connected the HDMI from my laptop to one of the HDMIs on the projector, turned it on and it worked. Intuitive remote control. Nice brightness. Even has a speaker on it which I did not expect. Not a very loud speaker, but usable. Planning now to get an outdoor screen and some type of tripod to hold it so we could watch movies outside. Going to also try to connect an stick on it to see if I can get prime movies on it directly from the stick without the laptop. So far very pleased. The devices looks good too in black. The included bag is of a nice quality too.

Just got this bad boy and man it is a very good projector. It’s bright even with the windows open and even better with the lights off. The colors aren’t as washed out like those other budget projectors. I bought this with the 30 dollars off and it’s well worth especially with the nice texture on top of the projector. This thing is a game changer! We have this big wall in our living room and we didn’t know what to do with it. So we bought this projector and man is it awesome. The best paet is that the projector fills up the wall and still can go twice as big. Picture looks great night or day but at night it is truly awesome. Picture quality is great. Even with my textured wall as a backdrop it still looks great. The audio from the unit is fine but it come with an audio port so we may add a sound bar at some point. the design is nice too we have our on a shelf on the other wall but it looks nice enough to sit on the coffee table if needed. Overall great projector.

I was impressed by the projector’s fabric top when I opened the box, giving some high-end feeling even though it’s a $200 range projector. It’s definitely worth to pay more to have FHD projector instead of getting a 720p one. 4k projectors are still way too expensive.This one is a standard size one similar to a 14 inch laptop. Besides the standard accessories I expected, there’s a 3-in-1 card reader which can let the projector to read memory cards. There’s a book of lens cleaning paper as well. The video brightness/contrast is very good already at default 50 and I can tune it up (perhaps to 100) if needed. The keystone works well, I can adjust locations of each of the 4 corners vertically and horizontally. Since I couldn’t find a large blank wall at home, I tried shrinking feature and it can at max shrink to 75% of the original size. The picture quality is great even just on the wall. The sound is ok for daily use but it’s better to get a soundbar for movies and the noise is low. 2 hdmi ports should be sufficient for most users. I hooked one fire tv stick and leave one hdmi for other devices such as laptop. Now I need to get a 100-120 inch screen for my home theatre

Very pleased with this projector. Glad I did not have to drop $500 plus for this level of performance. I’ve used more expensive Optomas and Epsons and this one is right up there with those in terms image/video quality. Sharp letters from edge to edge. Super easy setup, very intuitive controls. Speakers are loud and good enough to use on it’s own on days i’m feeling lazy and don’t want to set up an external system. Plus it looks great!My only worry is that there are no external/manual controls. Amost all settings are done electronically. Would be in a bind if the remote were ever broken or lost.

Quality made, quality packaging, all around impressive projector! I’m writing this because my wife asked why I hadn’t returned it yet. Not anything against the projector, quite the opposite. This arrived inside an box, that had been beaten up pretty badly, corner was smashed in, box was partially opened (tape was still sealed). We expected to get a replacement for this.But this thing is awesome! It was triple packed protecting the projector (projector box, foam in the box, then padded carry bag). The projector was fine, it was packaged so well shipping didn’t hurt the projector at all.Originally, we got this because we have been looking around for a deal on a projector for the basement play room. The kids play and rough house a lot down there, we didn’t want a tv for them to run into, knock off the wall, or break the screen when it gets hit with a thrown toy. Mounting this on the ceiling, and using a specially painted wall seemed like a better option. Now, I’m probably going to buy another one of these for the kids, and keep this as our main TV.So, testing it out, we’re at home doing e-learning… the kids love this! It’s not in the basement yet. I’m working from home, and helping with schoolwork. Also, lots of PBS Kids 🙂 when I’m busy. Our old TV was a 2011 Samsung, that has seen it’s better days. So I set this up to watch TV, on a regular wall (not the special paint like in the basement). No this isn’t a perfect replacement for a TV for everyone, but it may be depending on how you want to use it. I think we are going to use it as our TV from now on. In a well lit room the projector is bright and crisp with a great picture quality. If the sun was shining right on that wall I don’t think it would look great, like a tv. Comparing it to a tv is an unfair comparison, but it still does really well. On our shaded wall, it looks better than the TV. We connected a FireTV Stick, and are using Tablo (local TV stations) and all of the standard streaming options (Netflix, Disney, ).I’m no expert on projectors. I go to meetings and watch presentations on projectors, and occasionally plug my laptop into the cord at work to give one. That’s it – that’s my previous experience. It was enough I thought I knew what to expect. Honestly, I’m blown away! I bought it and didn’t realize this is a really top quality projector. I would expect to spend a lot more money for something this nice. It even has built in speakers. They are comparable to computer speaker quality. Works great for us!

Hope this review is taken as seriously as I’m writing it….THIS PROJECTOR IS AMAZING. Brought it with the intention of replace a broken bedroom tv, but instead it replacement the living room tv and living room tv is in bedroom. The clarity, color, sound, is amazing. Plugged my Xfinity box and xbox one and I’m having a blast. Kids love it as well. Several movie nights and we are still amazed.

The projector comes with a bag, which is very convenient for storage and transportation, if you do not have a special stand for permanent mounting of the projector. Pleased with the presence of many menu languages, in particular Russian. Contrast is not bad enough even in a lit room, and in the dark everything is excellent. Good and detailed projection adjustment, there is a built-in speaker also.

I bought it a few weeks ago following a friend’s advice. Here’s my experience just FYI: it’s super easy to use – I simply put it on a desk, connected it using an HDMI line to my laptop(it has several type of ports that you could connect it to, like USB etc.), then selected the connection from the remote, boom! The picture quality is very good on my wall and it’s clear even with a light on. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Hopefully this could help!

used to have an projector back in the days,till the lamp didnt went out,so now decided to upgrade,this is an led and it will work kinda forever,is nice to be able to play the files from wherever you like,wish it came with a stand f some sort,but it came in a package with a cupon for a gift that included kinda a stand(idk if all of them got this ),used it outside projected in the beige color and it was good ,but i will need a screen

Excellent projector for a budget friendly option. Are there better projectors? Yes, but you’ll spend more than double. The picture quality rivals a $600 DLP projector we have in a home theater room. We’re using this one to put a 85 inch screen on our bedroom wall to avoid permanently mounting a big tv. Very enjoyable. Picture is solid quality and the unit itself is extremely well made. I would highly recommend for a budget friendly option or a starter home theater experience. Pair with a good sound bar and subwoofer and you’ll have a great experience for a few hundred bucks.

I love movies but I can’t always go to the theater. And finally I got this guy. It pretty has everything I need. It has 1080p very high picture quality. I used my wall as background. This guy really surprised me. Super bright. I really feel like I’m in the theater. You can use adapter to connect to your phone your computer and your TV. Compare to other projectors sold in some shops. It worth every penny. Even better than some brand was sold over $1000. If someone was looking for a good quality projector like me.

I’m giving this Projector 5 stars simply because of the price point. The price for what you get out of this product is unmatchable! Would highly recommend this to anyone! I’ve added a few pictures of my projector mounted to my ceiling and projected onto my high gloss wall. I plan on getting a screen for my wall to disperse the brightness throughout. If you don’t like the look of screens, there’s always screen paint you could buy to mimic a screen! The only thing I’d change on this product would be the controller. I’m used to an Apple TV remote with the voice capabilities. All in all, great product!

I am really enjoying my new projector. I’ve owned many projectors over the years because our family enjoys watching movies together. This has been a really solid projector overall. I can watch this during the day, even though it looks better at night (as is the case with most). But I am currently using this, to not only watch movies but just to watch tv during the day and to play my PS4. The keystone correction is an amazing feature that my other projectors didn’t have. It makes a huge difference to be able to adjust the picture and angle. Before I purchased I was hesitant due some saying the fan was a bit loud. I personally do not find it to be loud at all. And defintely cannot hear the fan while I’m watching. Speaking of sound … The sound goes up pretty loud on its own, however I’ve always used surround sound speakers to get the sound I desire. So I don’t use the voIume on the projector.I suppose it depends on your set up. I would recommend atleast a sound bar. But this has been perfect for myself and my family. After our last projector quit working, I started looking for a new one, something more affordable, and came across this one. And this made a great surprise to my family! And they all agreed that it was much better than the previous one. So I would defintely recommend this, if you’re considering buying one.

The brightness and picture quality, even on a poorly painted hotel wall are really good considering the price point of this model vs others out there. There are plenty of options for attaching media devices to this projector, I can’t think of anything that you couldn’t attach some way or another. The keystone correction is pretty awesome on this unit. Usually a projector needs to be in the same spot you want to sit while viewing, this unit can be set way off to the side and have the image adjusted to the wall.The only drawback is the lack of buttons on the main unit in case you lose or misplace the remote. I drove 2 hours to go play some games on the big screen only to realize that you can’t adjust any settings without the remote. Input selection, volume, keystone… all the settings. It would be a great feature to be able to have basic button controls on this unit so it still works independent of having a remote.

Recently purchased this far a backyard theater setup. I was very impressed with the picture quality and range of options for hooking up sources. I’ve primarily use it with a laptop, streaming movies and tv shows to a 120′ screen. My only complaint would be the built-in speakers are a little tough to hear if you’re sitting anywhere but the right side (where the speakers are). The fix for this is to use your own external speakers and the projector has and AUX output for this. Overall really enjoying this projector and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice picture without breaking the bank.

I’m generally a critical person when it comes to bigger purchases and will look for flaws without really making a specific effort to do so. But I honestly had a hard time finding any flaws and couldn’t be more pleased with the Vankyo Performance V610. Now, this is an entry level projector so don’t purchase this with the expectation you’re getting a projector with a robust set of features like you might get from a $1,000+ projector. With that said, in my opinion, the V610 is more than sufficient for a family or person looking to get there feet wet in the world of home theater projectors. The cooling fans are quieter than the fans in the projector we were previously using, however, the picture quality and brightness are both an extreme improvement on what we had. I would recommend this projector to anyone. I spent about 2 weeks researching literally every single night before settling on the v610 and now that we’ve had it for a week now, I can confidently say this is by far the best quality and value you can get from a projector in the $200-$300 range.

Out of the box, it took no time to set up this projector. We watched a movie from my computer from a streaming service, and used bluetooth to connect to a speaker. The project speaker is good, but I want to have a louder option for outdoor movie nights this summer. The picture quality is GREAT! Definitely one of my best purchases this year.

I got this to replace an old off brand projector I had set up in the bedroom, and so far, it’s great. The focus is smooth, the fans are quiet, and I can still watch Netflix when the cat is pulling at the curtains. On top of that, this is the only device I have used that doesn’t require scaling for my fire stick to display properly. My only complaint would be that the included remote feels a little cheap, but overall, it’s a great product.
