I bought this projector to streaming my games. The second picture is when I connect my iPad to the projector wirelessly, it has a really good picture quality, brightness is good when you put the screen they included in the package. You have to point the remote control to the projector in order to make settings. In all, I think it’s worth the price.

This projector is literally everything I need! For 200 (discounted) it’s worth every single penny! You know I just think it’s unnecessary to pay $100 or $150 to get a cheap projector, why not pay a little more to get a better. I’ve played my PS4 on it as a whopping 90 inch setup with my blackout blind. That is also light gray! Colour is so vibrant with it. As you can see. Everything is so smooth unlike the previous projector I had which had scan-lines on it. This beats it out the water. I’m watching sky as I’ve connected my sky q mini box to it and it’s literally an indoor everyday cinema for movies and sports! I’ve had the sound on standard until few days ago, I hit it with the movie equalizer and it was loud!! Like TV loud at 15 volume level. That threw me off and amazed me even more. The sound db of the fan is low level, though I’m hearing impaired I can bear it as much also a mate said it isn’t loud at all, considering the sound of film coming out of it is overtaking the fan noise. I’ve recommended this projector to all my friends and they’re seriously considering getting one just for the sake of how impressed they were when they saw it in person. It wasn’t hard to set up. Love that I can shrink the screen to the adjusted size of my window, and use 4D keystone if needed. However word of advice when you do use these features, you have to adjust the focus wheel after as it blurs, once you’e done that, you can have your cinema nights!! Thank you to the company who made this! I’m forever appreciative of this product! I’m planing hosting a movie night with the mates in few weeks! And many more cinema nights of this to come!

This projector is exactly what I was looking for for my indoor movie nights! I just sit this projector on a stand and connect my laptop to it. Then open up a movie and I was set. It’s been quite the hit! The projector does make a little noise because of the fan but the audio from videos drowns out the fan. Setting up this projector was easy. I hung the projector over my bed to watch movies. Picture quality is awesome! Vivid colors and clear image. Overall, great purchase!

The contrast of the Leisure 495W is reasonably good. Compared with traditional TVs, iPods, and mobile phones, projectors protect the eyes more effectively by utilizing diffused, no-flicker reflection while blocking the blue light. However, the only downside is sometimes difficult to differentiate between the shades of gray in dark scenes. So that’s why I gave 4 stars for this projector.

Got this projector to enjoy music concerts and videos out side on the deck. Everyone knows what a projector looks like in the dark, but what was important to us was how it performed in a fairly lit or ambient lit room/ outside. First photo was well before dark , which was awesome, so bright you can start seeing at dusk. The second pic is after dark. Our back yard is full of string lights and a gas fire pit, so pretty lit up out there and I vas very happy with the performance of this projector. The sound ok but we definitely hook it up to our Bose sound system. Can’t imagine just using the internal speakers unless you had nothing else. Personally more concerned with how it looks not sounds as we knew we would be hooking it up to speakers. Could not be more pleased with my purchase! We have enjoyed several nights outside by the fire pit watching concerts on the big screen . Bright enough to enjoy in a significantly lit environment. We give it 5 stars and 4 thumbs up 🙂

This is an honest review, not influenced by anything other than my personal opinion as I know how difficult it was to find this product and want to share with others. I’d wanted a projector for a long time and especially one with the latest features for the best price I could find. After lots of comparisons and reading of reviews, I picked this one.It thankfully comes with it’s own canvas as it helps me get the greater projection viewing. I’m very happy with the powerful built in speakers as I don’t actually need to as they are so good. The projector fans are noticeable in quiet bits of the film but you really don’t notice this when you’re engrossed in your movie. The colour and sound themes are good and can be further customised to suit, within reasonable and acceptable ranges. WiFi connections are fast.I’ve set mine up in the corner of my bedroom on a cabinet to project at a 45 d angle to the biggest wall adjacent to where I sit in bed, there’s a little blurring at the edges no matter how I adjust the manual focussing but it’s barely noticeable while watching a movie, it’s only apparent when the adjustment menus or other text is onscreen. Also, the bigger the projection image, the larger the blurry side margins get but again this doesn’t bother me as it’s sharp in the middle area where it matters most. The image is excellent in full darkness of course but still good with just curtains drawn.It takes a few attempts to get used to the tweaks and adjustments available to get the best picture.The advanced keystone that stretches the corners is a brilliant feature and means you’ll never have to constantly rearrange the furniture and spend ages moving the projector around to get the best image.All in all, for the price, this is great quality and value for money, well worth the investment for easy entertainment.I want to mention that due to concerns of blue light exposure very close to bedtime, I lower the image brightness and contrast and dim my smart bedroom light to dark red to bring a faint warmth to the room especially if watching late at night and wanting to sleep immediately after. Works a treat.Finally, so far VANKYO have been responsive to email contact so customer care seems great too.

I bought this projector to use for outdoor movies in my backyard and for movie nights in the house. I decided to try this one after researching different options (both on Amazon and other retailers) and reading reviews (both on Amazon and other sites). You get a lot for the price. The picture quality is excellent and the pictures adjustments (keystone, etc.) are easy to use. It took me a min to figure out there isn’t a zoom, but there is a ‘reduce picture size’ you can use to adjust the picture on the wall. It comes with a remote (requires 2 AAA batteries), HDMI cable, RCA cable adapter, power cable, some lens cleaning supplies, and a 100′ screen. The screen also came with hooks that look like 3M command strip style hooks you can place on a wall and remove. The screen is more like a thick sheet, but appears well made. It works great against a wall, but I have not tired it outside yet. I hang a tarp off my deck for a screen, but want to try this to see if it is thin enough where I can project from the back.I have used the HDMI cable to a computer, a Google Chromecast/ Amazon FireTV and the screen sharing from my iPhone. All work fine and as expected. The fan is loud, but when I am watching a movie, the audio drowns it out and I don’t notice it. It might be a little loud if you are using it on a conference room table and trying to show a presentation. I was impressed and surprised with the sound from the projector speaker. It works well and you almost don’t need a speaker. Though I use Bluetooth to connect to a speaker or sound bar from my laptop or Chromecast/FireTV. That way I can have the audio coming from the screen in front and in stereo instead of by the projector. It does seem like the focus maxes out about 15 feet or so. When I put the projector further back, I couldn’t focus it more. I read that on another review too. However, the size of the image on the wall from that distance (at 100% image size) was too large for me to view comfortably. Just keep in mind the throw distance when determining where to place the projector.Overall I am very pleased, especially for the price I paid. I wish it came with a case to store and carry, but I found one on Amazon for under $30 that fits it perfectly. I would expect more expensive projectors would have a quitter fan and better adjustments at a longer throw distances, but for the money, I don’t think you can beat this option, and it is pretty simple to use with decent instructions. Time will tell how long it holds up, but so far it is exceeding my expectations.

The best part is it comes with in-built rear speaker. I wanted to try a portable projector as I’m frequent mover and preferred to choose a light weight one than a heavy gadget with 4k display. This projector went out very well and extremely lightweight with 1xHDMI, 2xUSB, 1xAUX ports which helps in connecting more display devices with HDMI splitters. It’s easy to carry and can fit in a normal size backpack. The remote control is also very portable and comes with all options. I would recommend to buy a projector stand if you want to move it frequently or a mount to mount it in your basement/movie theatre. If you’re looking for a good quality picture at optimal cost, then this could be your option.

This is fantastic! The picture is so bright and crystal clear, which I’m projecting on my wall that has wooden planks, but this is just an amazing projector. The built-in speakers are awesome and surprisingly loud. I do not hear any fuzz or distortion when volume is at 90. I think it will go as high as 100. It’s easy to set up and use. I love the built-in wifi feature and remote control. I haven’t used the keystone correction yet, but have played around with the aspect ratio, sound mode, and focus. I must say, I’m very impressed. Like others have mentioned, the fan is a little loud, but it isn’t distracting at all. I’m super happy with this Vankyo Leisure 530w projector and would highly recommend.

I like the design of this projector because it is lightweight. I was able to stream on the projector and mirror my phone screen, which worked perfectly. You should keep in mind that the native resolution is 1080p, so playing a 2160p video will not improve the overall quality, which is not bad for projectors at this price point. I used internal speakers with a built-in equalizer for my setup. The brightness is good enough for rooms that are either mid-dark or dark. Because I use projectors in dark environments, I prefer a projector with back-lit buttons which this one does the job.

In the middle of another depressing rainy day, I closed the drapes, switched off the dining room lights, and streamed an episode of Grimm. While the image was noticeably faded, the show could be enjoyably watched.I repeated the test a few minutes before sunset. The image proved to be much brighter. After sunset, I noticed that the projected image was as bright as I would expect if seated in a theater.
