We got this for our 11 yr old for Christmas and he loves the drone. It’s really good quality for its price. Flying is super easy to learn and it has good auto features like auto land. The camera works really well and takes good pictures if you hover. Once the App is downloaded the drone is super easy to pair with a phone. Also the battery lasts longer than other drones and having 2 come is awesome.

Dear snaptain, My wife purchased me the SNAPTAIN S5C WiFi FPV DRONE for Christmas. It was a wonderful surprise gift. I really like the very easy to operate remote control and the way the drone handles when flying especially in windy conditions, I alsolike it’s durability along with it’s cool look. Although the longevity of the batteries during flight time could be longer. As a whole I still give the drone a five star rating and I am grateful to own a SNAPTAIN DRONE. This is our first drone so I can’t speak from a lot of experience, but it certainly seems to work well. The video is basic but respectable given the price and is nice that it records directly to your phone so there’s no messing around with downloading or running out of space on a card.It’s a very lightweight build – pretty flimsy plastic – so any wind will really affect how it flies and even when not windy you have to be constantly adjusting and tweaking it, but the controls are pretty easy to get the hang of (until you start messing with the headless mode and suchlike) and it has plenty of speed and power. The controller is nice, similar to an Xbox controller and in fact the controls are a lot like a video game too. The phone plug in works great although it took a bit to track down the correct app for this model. we haven’t managed to get it to roll yet; I think it needs to be pretty high off the ground or something, but you can’t go far with it or it starts losing signal.So all told it is pretty cheap and I doubt it will last long but considering the price it’s a great toy with lots of features that the more expensive ones have.

We ordered two Snaptain drones, being unsure which we’d like for the grandkids. Disclaimer: I am NOT a good/experienced drone pilot! :). While the other was perfect for the kids, being smaller and foldable, this was a bit too advanced for them, but perfect for me. Now while they’re flying theirs, I can be learning on this one. It does have advanced features I’ll get to in time, but for now I’m just happy learning on this guy. Well built, 1080P camera, easy controls, and fantastic price!

This was a Christmas Gift for our 10 year old.One of our first flights was at the beach and the wind took it pretty hard. Hard a bad crash landing and I was sure we had ruined it. Once the sand got cleaned out, it was all good. There are a few extra parts included that is helpful for when they go missing.

This was a gift for my 10 year old grandson. He has had it for about 1.5 months and the drone is still working well. I say this because he is not easy on anything and this drone appears to be well made. This is his first drone and it can be flown quite easily for a beginner. However, it has advanced flying features that take more skill to learn and have kept him interested. He likes the ‘bailout button’ which is a feature on the remote to get you out of trouble in a hurry. You hit the button and the craft stops what it was doing and lands itself. He’s happy so I’m happy!

Very nice Drone. It is actually faster then I thought it was going to be. It has been working good for a few months now. I had one before that I had to return twice because one motor seized up. Great drone for beginners. Easy to control with provided remote, however the phone app has limited range for control when connected via wifi. Extremely fun to fly around. Be sure to have both batteries charged as you only get 5-7 minutes per battery.
