I don’t really have one bad thing to say about this drone. I had ordered one previous a different brand that cost more and I crashed it maybe two times and it quit working and didn’t crash at that bad at all. I was a little hesitant on getting this one cuz I assumed the same thing would happen but I was wrong I have crashed it so many times only cuz I was learning to fly with it but it takes a beating and still flies perfect. I don’t think anybody can go wrong just follow the instructions make sure you use a fast enough memory card and just practice in a wide open area with little wind and you will become an expert in no time. this is great for beginners and experts, I do believe it’s a super fun drone for the price. Since using this one, I purchased a mavic air 2 and I probably fly this one more than the MA2. Here is a video I made which is the highest I had it, no wind, and I think the video is pretty darn good for such an inexpensive drone. you really can’t go wrong if you’re just starting out or if you’re getting the kids some to bang around with and abuse I really think this can hold up.

We ordered two Snaptain drones, being unsure which we’d like for the grandkids. Disclaimer: I am NOT a good/experienced drone pilot! :). While the other was perfect for the kids, being smaller and foldable, this was a bit too advanced for them, but perfect for me. Now while they’re flying theirs, I can be learning on this one. It does have advanced features I’ll get to in time, but for now I’m just happy learning on this guy. Well built, 1080P camera, easy controls, and fantastic price!

This was a Christmas Gift for our 10 year old.One of our first flights was at the beach and the wind took it pretty hard. Hard a bad crash landing and I was sure we had ruined it. Once the sand got cleaned out, it was all good. There are a few extra parts included that is helpful for when they go missing.

This was a gift for my 10 year old grandson. He has had it for about 1.5 months and the drone is still working well. I say this because he is not easy on anything and this drone appears to be well made. This is his first drone and it can be flown quite easily for a beginner. However, it has advanced flying features that take more skill to learn and have kept him interested. He likes the ‘bailout button’ which is a feature on the remote to get you out of trouble in a hurry. You hit the button and the craft stops what it was doing and lands itself. He’s happy so I’m happy!

Very cool little drone. All is a expected,. However, the set up to get the camera to show on your phone is a little tedious and not explained well, i had to search to figure it out and the video is very laggy and slow to view.Picture quality seems pretty good, not awesome, but good.Having a little trouble tuning it to stay in one spot, no matter what i do it seems to want to drift.

First time we flew it the drone got out of control and couldn’t turn it around and it went out of range and stuck in a tree.After posting this review the seller contacted me and sent a replacement drone which was really nice of them as my son was really upset about losing the drone. We will try this new one not near any trees it can get stuck in and hopefully learn to fly it.

It’s a good drone for beginners. The flight and camera options that are only available on the Snaptain Era app, make the expereince more enjoyable. I have struggled with video quality, but the camera itself works well. Flying the drone is simple and easy, with many more fun flight patterns on the app. I use the drone primarily for fun and not as a photography drone. The battery life lasts longer in warm weather; thats why I suggest flying on calm, warm days. This drone is a gret source of entertainment for kids and adults both!

Great drone for beginners. Easy to control with provided remote, however the phone app has limited range for control when connected via wifi. Extremely fun to fly around. Be sure to have both batteries charged as you only get 5-7 minutes per battery.

The drone itself is great but i had to lookup videos on how to fly the thing. Assembly was easy i just wish their was more instructions on how to fly. For beginners this is a great product. Drones can get pretty pricey but this one isn’t too expensive.

This drone is great. Got stuck in a maple tree for a week in the PNW during winter rain before finally falling down from 100′. Put a new battery in and it flies fine. Definitely worth the money.

Got it as a birthday gift for my 8 year old son. Good drone for beginners, easy to fly and more durable than some. Drone is easy to operate, change battery, and looks good! Drone comes with tiny screws and other small pieces so definitely recommend adult assembly and or supervision for the young kiddos. Camera is also not bad for the cost of the drone. The remote control is not bad considering the price. The trim buttons could be a little more responsive as there seems to be some lag when trying to set the trim.

I’ve had this for a bit and had some good weather this weekend to try it out. SO MUCH FUN. The kids had a blast chasing it around. Only took a few minutes to get used to the controls and mess with the trim settings. Next task is to try it out with my phone and take some pictures and videos. It’s pretty fun to see how high in the air it goes and fly it around the neighborhood!I do wish the batteries lasted a bit longer, I will probably look into getting extras to have charged and ready to go.
