I am super happy with my Kyvol robot vacuum. It does an amazing job. The sensors on the top help render the floor plan and divides them into ‘Rooms’. This is my FAVORITE feature by far. I can set it to clean just a specific room! The app is pretty functional and haven’t had any issues so far.In the box you get accessories and it even brings some batteries for the remote control! The accessories include a replacement filter, brushes, trash bag, and disposable mop clothes. Overall I am super happy with my purchase!

Where do I start, bad app connection, support phone is useless and now waiting for the third day for a response to an email. The WIFI connection was very hard to get started, then I needed a firmware upgrade and the app said the vacuum was not charged up to do it when it was charged up. Next, I have written to the company and am waiting for three days for a response to see how the vac can first stopping in my hallway while mapping out my floorplan. Lastly, the vacuum has gone over a no vacuum zone and torn up the tassels on hand made rug. This is all in less than a week. I suspect this thing get shipped back for a refund from Kyvol for a poor product with little support.

UPDATE:I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because basic aspects of customer service (such as: having an auto responder on the support inbox set to auto-acknowledge customer emails, and having a human instead of computer generated voice record the outgoing message for the phone support voicemail) are still missing for this new-ish company. I had an issue with the dustbin on the Kyvol not emptying into the collection container, and felt as though customer service would be sketchy at best after reaching out via several venues. The support team did respond (after I scoured the internet for self-help, and found others who were put off by the same lack of customary customer service features) and my issue is fully resolved.On to the good things: the device is pretty amazing. Strong suction, great navigation, feature-rich app. Plus, it’s a lot faster than my Deebot and older Roomba – cleaning speed is roughly 30 minutes per 1,000 square feet. It’s also working some kind of magic when it comes to avoiding pets – the laser guiding brings it snuggly against walls for vacuum, yet it completely avoids my curious/angry/frightened pets – turning around without any contact.Cons: The dusting emptying feature is LOUD. Loud enough to hear on a different level of the house, through closed doors, and over the TV. The mopping feature is mostly useless for me since the machine cannot self empty with the mopping attachment equipped; I purchased it to not have to manage its work, so needing to do that if I use the auto mopping makes mopping not worth it. Also the mop unit can only hold water, not cleaning fluid. I’ve already purchased a second mop-only device; however, this doesn’t detract from the Kyvol because at this price point, it’s still a good purchase for the vacuuming feature alone. Anything else that I may dislike is really more of a quirk than a negative. Just be prepared to play with the app a bit and do a bit of discovery on the machine itself because the instruction manual doesn’t cover much beyond the initial setup; it’s really sparse, missing basic things like ‘how to manually open the dustbin’ – that alone would have eliminated my need to contact support.Overall, I’m thrilled with the purchase and will be buying one for my elderly great-aunt. Kyvol is using improved technology to really offer the best device in this feature set, for an attractive price point. I fully recommend this to anyone on the market for self emptying robovac.

The mapping features and app does make it very easy to adjust cleaning zones. It also cleans in very straight lines. It is very efficient and helps reduce the amount of dog hair on our floors.

Definitely can vacuum but if you have a lot of pet hair it’s probably best to run the vacuum again. I’m not happy with the mop feature you can’t put hot water or cleaning solution in it. Your basically just wiping the floors with water. When I first mopped the water wasn’t coming out I had to wet the cleaning cloth to get it to wipe the floors down. Other than that very happy with the vacuum. It doesn’t get the edges super well of the room. I will have to still vacuum the edges but it does a great job minimizing the pet hair left from my dog.

After watching a lot of videos doing product testing, I found this robot vacuum. It has 3000Pa Max Suction compared to most that had only 2000Pa or less. I used it with 2000Pa and it did a fantastic job. I wanted to see how well it cleaned at the lower setting first. I also wanted to be able to have a more powerful setting whenever I needed it. It uses the 3000Pa when emptying the dust bin on the robot. Even with cat hair and dirt from outside (we live in the country) there was no problem in emptying the it. I tried to connect the bot to the internet, but I was doing something wrong. I ended up pressing the start button on top of the bot. The little fella took off and did a systematic pattern, first around the outside edge of the room, then doing the inside area by going back and forth till it was done! It immediately went back to the charging station, emptied the dust bin, turned around and connected itself to charging all by itself! I love the bot! Since I’m retired, I really don’t need to use the internet to connect my smart phone to the bot. I can use the remote just fine. I do a lot on my smart phone as it is, so not operating the bot from my phone is not an issue for me. I would recommend buying this model S31 Cybovac if you want more suction power and a really clean floor. I have wood floors so I can’t verify carpet cleaning, but with the extra suction power, it should do great!

Love this vacuum! It arrived yesterday and I immediately got it up and running. We have a dog who sheds a lot and I’m tired of the hair everywhere. It does a good job getting the hair and stuff on the floor from my 3 kids. I like how it does the whole perimeter of the area before cleaning the middle. My house is very long and I’m impressed how it chunks the house apart to put it in easier chunks to clean.I’ve had trouble with our 2.4gH wifi, so I haven’t been able to get the app to work with it yet. But with just the remote, and using boxes/chairs to block off areas, I’ve been able to happily clean my whole house with it.I ran the vacuum in my kitchen and then mopped myself afterwards. I ALWAYS have dog hair on my mop I missed while sweeping. This time, no dog hair on my mop! I was so happy to see that. I’m currently trying out the mop function with the vacuum now. So far I’m not very impressed with it, but I’m thinking I need to run it differently with the remote. It just runs a damp pad behind the vacuum, and so far hasn’t even gotten my floors slightly damp. The mop attachment has a fair amount of dog hair that is dragging with the mop that the vacuum didn’t suck up too. And I just swept and mopped last night. I’m hopeful I can work out the kinks in the mopping feature, and will update when (if) I get it worked out.Update on mopping: I got the mop pad wet under the sink and then put the mopping attachment on. It has been doing a great job mopping and I can see my floors are damp from it. Although it seems one of the water drippers isn’t dripping water the way it should since that side isn’t leaving as wet of a trail. I’m betting with some adjustments I get get it to work better. I also turned the suction up on the vacuum and that may have been my problem last time. The suction wasn’t high enough, or on at all. The book doesn’t give much for directions or troubleshooting for the mop & vacuum directions with the remote. But it’s doing much better now and I don’t have the trail of hair now. The mop is just a damp rag ran along the floor behind it and I do like how it dries right away and I don’t have a wet floor for a while. Especially with kids and dogs!For the decent cost (compared to other all in one mop/vacuum/canister sets) I’m happy with it! I bought this to keep up on the massive dog hair and dirty footprints and it will make a huge difference with the dog hair! Footprints have yet to be fully solved, but we’ll get it. My kids are happy that they don’t have to vacuum their rooms after cleaning anymore and I’m happy that it vacuums under their bed and does a much more thorough job vacuuming then my kids did.

This Robot vacuum is the best for many reasons.I’ve owned this unit now for 2-3 months. Others have touched on its ability to vacuum and how it has great suction and all those things are true my intention is to inform those who care about product durability and longevity and repair.I hate throw away products. I hate products that don’t allow you to repair them. This unit seems quite servicable. I have two black labs and three women in my home. Needless to say hair is a big portion of what this cleans up. It fills up it’s hopper quite fast if I don’t have it run daily. As a result it needs cleaning itself often to keep the motors and the brushes free and clear to do what I don’t have time for. The orange sweeper brushes are easily replaceable with one screw to remove them. They are labeled L and R and indexed with a square and hexagon underneath to prevent placing them on the wrong side which I thought was odd but so far they have lasted quite well. The main roller comes out by a spring return button. It’s out in 5 seconds or less and they include a cleaning tool to cut the lady hair out.The deeper dive. Under 8 screws you get into the seemingly replaceable guts of the vacuum. The sweeper motors on some robot vacuums require extensive disassembly to replace those seem to be essentially swappable under the 8 screws cover and a single screw that holds them in place. The battery is also accessable under this cover. It seems to be a cell containing 8 18650 batteries in a jacket with a molex connector meaning it too is replaceable. I have not had a reason to take a deeper dive and won’t unless the unit fails but so far I’m quite satisfied with it’s apparent servicable nature.

I love everything about this robot vacuum. We had another robot vacuum for years and though it did a good job it was very loud and did not have the auto empty feature. With the Kyvol I can control all my gum cleaning from my phone. I can set up virtual walls and barriers so that in mop mode the robot does not mop the carpet. Anytime the robot gets into trouble it sends me a text so I am aware that it got stuck. The cleaning power is also very wonderful. My floors look really nice and the cleaning maintenance is easy to take care of. I would definitely buy this product again for my upstairs area.

I love my Cybovac far better than my Roomba. It’s a much better, smoother and quieter machine. Sometimes if you pick it up and try to take it into a room manually instead of driving it there with the remote or having it go there on its own…it will randomly erase the map of your house and prompt you to re-map the whole house. I’m not sure why that is. Not a big deal just a tiny frustration. I’ve had my cybo-vac for 2 weeks now and have had this problem twice already.

I really like our new Kyvol. We have two cats and a dog. It does a great job cleaning up the daily pet hair. It does a better job than our old Roomba. I also like that I can tell it to clean only certain areas.

Love this robot vacuum! We have a 90 lb husky mix and he sheds like the dickens, we seriously have to vacuum every day, which is a hassle. with this vacuum we can still clean every day but do other stuff while it’s doing the work for us! it picks up his fluff no problem and since we can pick which room we want it to clean it will empty itself when it’s done and then send it on to the next room. The \u2018do not vacuum’ option on the map is a plus, keeps the wires safe under our entertainment system. It’s sleek, smart, and hugs the corners. Once it does the perimeter of the room it’s off to the races in a pattern so it doesn’t miss a spot, not like the other robots that go in random directions, which i thinks makes it take less time to clean. The battery lasts long too, we can do our whole house on one charge. I definitely reccomend this for hard floors and carpets too, goes smoothly between the two whithout getting hung up.

The mapping , walls, no go zones, etc. Are all great and it cleaners really well.My only gripe is that the suction door for the vacuum canister is to small. I have a long hair dog (Anitolian Sheppard) and it fails to empty about 60% of the time. His hair is so long it clogs and the door way and defeats the whole purpose of a self emptying system.I’m going to return it and just buy one with a larger dust bin.

I never thought I would ever pay for a robotic vacuum cleaner, I actually brought a cheaper brand from Walmart, I realized how great it was, now that I had just used my first one, I realized it was missing features I really would want in a robotic vacuum, so now doing more depth research , I found “Buddy” the S31, it had all the features I wanted, multiple maps for different areas, the auto dump and the mopping feature. Does an excellent Job! Very impressed with it finding dirt, even when the floors look clean. The only reason for 4 on the suction, sometimes when there are small chucks, it spread or blow the piece in a different direction and miss the item, this only would happen on the hardwood floors, overall excellent product!

Absolutely love our Kyvol S31, we actually named him Jeffery and I tell my kids he is a better helper then them! Lol He is actually quieter then I thought he would be while sweeping up the house and you can hear the increase in suction on the carpet and rugs and see the vacuum lines which makes me feel like everything is well accomplished when he is finished. We schedule our Kyvol everyday at night when there is less traffic and after lots of movement has been done through out the day and our floors are always well swept. Oh and did I mention we have two dogs and one is a wooly husky and we never have her fur lying around since we bought the robot vacuum. The self disposing is awesome and the bag inside the canister last a long time, I have yet to change mine out. We love our Kyvol so much we purchased 2 of the cheaper models for our mothers for Mother’s Day! I highly recommend it!

With two pets this robot is a lifesaver!It’s almost maintenance free given auto dust removal bin and it comes with a cool app that allows to create a schedule and control it remotely. I really like feature of virtual walls so that you don’t need to glue magnetic stripes or any other obstacles! I’ve just marked a zone where my pets food is so it’s never spilled over by vacuum.

I really love this ! Only problem is when it forgets the map and I have to reset the map. Sometimes the app doesn’t want to work properly but i kept it because it does a well job in getting all the dog hair! I don’t like the mopping part of it though, it doesn’t spray anything out and you can only use water no cleaning agents.

We’ve been using the Kyvol Cybovac S31 at least twice per week since receiving it on January 9th, 2021. It has performed beautifully.Our house is about 1800 sq. ft., with a master bedroom suite. a den, an office, a utility room, separate pantry, and a kitchen/dining room with a living room ell off that. The floors are an engineered wood-grained product. We have several throw rugs in the dining room, carpet tiles in the den and bedroom, and throw rugs in each of the three bathrooms. We also have a dog.We have a single floor plan with no thresholds in the doorways, though, so I can’t comment on the unit’s performance with respect to stairs and door thresholds.The Kyvol docks under my desk in the office. Each complete vacuuming cycle takes about an hour.We are particularly happy with the unit’s ability to clean under the bed and the clothes chests-of-drawers, since those were very inconvenient to to with our old upright vacuum cleaner.We have only had two minor problems, which were very easy to fix.The first was that the rotating wire sweeping brushes that come with the unit were leaving fine surface scratches on the floor finish. I solved that easily by trimming about 1/4 inch off the ends of the wires using a normal pair of scissors. This did not prevent the wires from sweeping properly, but lowered the pressure on the floors so that the scratching does not happen.The other problem we had was the scale in the bathroom which seems to be exactly the wrong height for the unit. The unit’s documentation warns that some objects will cause the unit to get stuck, so this was not a surprise. Once I started taking the scale off the floor before starting a cleaning cycle, the vacuum has not become stuck on anything else. In particular, it manages the deep-pile throw rug in the dining room with no problem at all. Since the dog spends considerable time on that rug, we were very pleased to see that the vacuum cleans up the dog hair nicely.We’ve never used the iPhone app, and don’t feel its necessary. The unit itself is quite capable of finding its way around the whole interior, and then back to its dock. It has never shown any signs of exhausting the battery, or of getting ‘lost’. If we want it to skip a room, we only need to leave the door shut. The IR remote control that comes with the unit is quite sufficient for the odd time that I’ve wanted to run the unit manually.

Pet hair on the floor is no longer a problem for our family. I have not had to call customer service, but they have already reached out to me a couple of times in this first month to see how I like it, so I would assume they would be good to work with.

I was told about this handy helper from my dad who had recently ordered one. After speaking with him and watching his, I decided to purchase one for our home. It has been the best addition to our home. I am able to turn it on while picking up minor items before people come over and I can even turn it on from my phone if I am on my home and expecting company. I would highly recommend this product!

I did a ton of research on robot vacs before deciding on this model. Some of the other brands have more features but also bring a bit more headache This vac has all the right features, the mapping function works great, battery life is very good and APP is very solid. The Alexa integration is very basic (on / off) so hopefully, that can be improved with updates. The self-empty feature is awesome and works great. The key to this and all robots is to make sure you get a complete map done. We have a 3800 sq/ft home (Ranch) so I put the suction power to super quiet to conserve battery. This allowed it to map the home completely and return to base (very important). Once this is done, you can change it back to standard suction power. I have it scheduled to do different rooms on different days so I have no issues with battery life. Overall this is a great buy for the dollar. You will feel the quality as soon as you remove it from the box. I purchased a second one for use In my building and it works great. Take the time to Map, look for cords and things that it can get caught on. Oh, and if you have black carpets, the anti-drop sensors (true for all Robot Vac) can be challenging. Have fun

The Kyvol Robot Vacuum Does everything that the higher priced vacuum does without the high price. The first time running the vacuum, it maps the house, and shows up on the phone app. After that it ‘knows’ the house, and will vacuum everything in an organized pattern. It will do my house in less than an hour, and still has over 20% battery left. It returns to the base station and empties itself, and docks in the charging port. The lidar sensor is very accurate at locating walls and furniture. I have a thick floor pad in the kitchen where it would get stuck. I was able to create a virtual wall around the pad which solved that problem. I’m very impressed, and highly recommend this vacuum.

I researched all the vacuum makes/models and settled on this one. You will not be disappointed with this Kyvol vacuum. It works as described and has pleasantly surprised me with it’s load of features. I love the quiet mode, controlling the suction power, using it for full house clean or spot clean, and more. It is heavy duty and can get up and around things easily. It also comes a part easily to clean. The mobile app is feature rich as well and is easy to use!

We have 4 kids, 3 dogs, 1 cat and a Bearded dragon. The Kyvol is a great product for the price, it does get stuck going in and out of the bathroom but that is our only issue. It sucks up the pets hair and keeps the sand and dirt low. We usually have it run when we leave the house. It also pairs with Alexa.

At first it was a little tricky with this device when it was learning the map of the house and setting up barriers; however, once it learned the map of the place it works great! The mopping feature is fantastic too! It totally relieves so much stress with not having to worry about my floors because the robot does it for me. Sometimes has a hard time finding it’s way back to the charging station after it finishes cleaning but other than that it works great!!! Highly recommend.
