I was in the market for my first projector but was honestly overwhelmed by all of the different choices available on VANKYO and other websites. I wasn’t sure about what kind of quality I should be looking for, but I knew that I had to have a projector that allowed me to connect via Bluetooth or airplay. I hate having to carry wires around with me, so this was a good choice! The quality of the videos is great and the colors are spot on with what I see on my phone or laptop. I’m not very technologically inclined, but connecting my iPhone and MacBook was very easy! I would recommend this to anyone who is new to projectors and wants to try it out before investing in a more expensive option! Oh, it also comes with a carrying/travel case which is great if you are bringing it to other people’s houses!

Overall this projector is incredible for the price. Is it the best projector out there, no. But it is quite awesome for what you’re getting. If you need help trying to get your smart phone to connect to the projector, and you’re having issues where it’s not projecting, try updating your HDMI cable. That was what helped me with my issue. It was not the projectors fault.

This was a great price and I am very happy with my purchase. The picture quality is clear, and no pixelation. I use a large 120 inch screen or even a white bed sheet, and it looks terrific. It was pretty easy for me to setup, and I’m no tech guru by any means. It’s also compact and easy to travel with and I think it looks sleek. This projector doesn’t take up a lot of space, which makes it convenient as well.

The instruction booklet is well made and easy to follow. I did do some google search on my phone’s setting (not the projector) in order to connect my phone to the projector with USB, or wirelessly (via WIFI). Most reliable way is USB of course. If using WIFI, I believe the closer of the router, phone and projector, the better.Ideally it needs a white projector screen to have the best effect. But I found the quality is fine to play video on any wall, even though the wall is textured and kind of yellowish (see photos).The projector has VGA, HDMI, AV, USB, SD card as inputs. So it can do a number of things. It also has a headphone jack. I like the fact it is portable, and can play video in any of my available walls.

Recently bought it for camping trips and some summer movie party. We set it up on the 2nd floor to project it to a big white wall. The picture quality and clarify are amazing. It comes with very neat and easy to open packaging. The packaging includes the projector, remote control, cables etc. it’s very easy to set up. The VANKYO 423 was shipped in the case and contained everything that was stated. Case is of good quality. At a distance of 13 feet the screen size is 8ft wide by 54 inches tall and has a fairly decent picture in mid day with blinds in room closed and an excellent picture in a dark room. At the distance stated for the size of the picture the screen door effect is there, but its not bothersome or a deal breaker. Noise level is VERY low and speaker is VERY good for indoors. We do let it cool down for a few minutes after 3 to 4 hours, not sure we need to, but we saw this recommendation from someone else. If you are planning to use this outdoors external speakers would be recommended and as far as the picture outside, even on a moonlit night, it will be fine, but keep in mind it is a 720P projector. We may get a 2nd to keep stored for when this one finally goes so we will have another, in case by, then they aren’t around. Price point is perfect.

Since I’ve been wanting one I decided to give it a try.First off, it is very nicely well packaged. It comes with a nice storage bag which makes it easy to store and carry around (I brought it to friends houses)I like that the projector is small and easy to use. The screen scaring is really easy, and so is connecting it to my computer as well.I also tried to play Nintendo switch with it and it worked. I always wanted a handy portable projector for weekend getaway camping and found this from Amazon. It comes with everything in a compact package bag. Small equipments and parts are likely to be missing when you pack and unpack for camping, but it won’t happen with this complete bag. Wireless connection works very well. You can adjust focusing point. My small tip is it’s better to set a focus to subtitles (if there are CC)

This is a good projector for the price and it is much better than what I expected to see. The best feature of this projector is its screen casting feature. You can cast the screen of your smartphone with a cable or wireless. It is perfect for travel too as it is not that big.

Such a great item to complete our basement theater. The amount of features it has is good and you can manually focus and adjust keystone. I have a lot of features to explore and you can orient the projection and rotate it anyway you need if you are planning to mount this. The sound quality is very good. It doesn’t sound like some tin can. It has some depth to it and the volume is nice. The fan is not loud and the internal speakers appear to drown the fan noise out. The material of the projector is similar to a printer you’d have at home. It is a lightweight plastic and appears to be well thought out in design.

I connect it with my Chromecast to play movies from my streaming services. The high contrast ratio gives a sharp image on many different displays–I used the exterior wall of my house. I am super surprised on the quality of this item. We are avid RV’r and like to find things to add to the outdoor time and we figured we would get something like this so that we could have fun movie nights or karaoke with friends. We put this up last night on the beach, tied the sheet to the canopy and started streaming karaoke. Not only could we see the quality of the picture but the words for the karaoke songs were so clear. This projector is very easy to use straight from the box. The menu is easy to navigate and to understand it’s funtions. Easy to operate with its remote. Picture quality is great for a dark room even for the large screen. It can be used in some lighting as well, but wouldn’t recommend it if you want to enjoy a good movie. Sound quality with built-in speakers are ok, not the best but for this price it’s good. There are multiple input option I tried with fire stick and phone and it worked fine.

I think this is a good projector for the price. The resolution of this projector is a little choppy when you are close to it but when you are far away it looks amazing. It was extremely simple to setup and the best thing about this is that I can connect my phone to it.
